Ankara with 5 million population is Turkey’s second largest city after Istanbul.

On April 23, 1920, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was established in Ankara, which became the headquarters of Atatürk and the Turkish National Movement during the Turkish War of Independence. Ankara is a very old city with various Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman archaeological sites. The city has a borderline hot dry-summer continental climate and a cold semi-arid climate. Due to its elevation and inland location, Ankara has cold and snowy winters, and hot and dry summers.

The local scenery on the ground is as follows.
